Gerarda Persad (Gerry), originally from Panama, is a clinical social worker specializing in mental health, a former Army soldier, and a retired Commander/Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Public Health Service Corps. Her military career provided the opportunity to travel and live internationally, sparking a lifelong passion for exploring diverse destinations and cultures.

Gerry’s travels have taken her across the globe—including Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East. Together with her husband, a former military officer and retired international commercial pilot, she co-owns the Cruise Planners–Persad & Associates franchise. Collectively, they bring more than a century of travel experience to their clients.
